People & purpose
As a Second Lieutenant in MCDF, emergency response keeps me connected to what matters: people, teamwork, and practical ways to make a difference.
EMERGENCY RESPONSEA callsign that became
a little more personal.
I’m Leftenan Muda (PA) Syahrul Saifuddin Bin Md Thakhrim, a Second Lieutenant in the Malaysia Civil Defence Force (MCDF), and the person behind 9w2tng. What began as my amateur radio callsign has become a name for my personal work, interests, and explorations.
My background in emergency response shapes how I approach things: understand the situation, stay practical, and find a way to help. That same curiosity follows me into radio and technology, where there’s always something new to learn.
Away from duty and tinkering, I also enjoy anime and manga. There’s room here for the stories I love, as well as the things I build.
This is my small corner of the internet. A place to share who I am and what keeps me curious, one connection and one useful idea at a time.
